On one fine yet dreary morning during an English Literature lesson, Jamie Sanders turned to Josh Catchatoor and said "Mate I fancy putting a band together, one thats a bit different, really funky and all that jazz, Synths, Brass completely different from the norm...." Josh shared Jamie's enthusiasm and by the end of the day they had enlisted the help of Ian Hutchesson, Thomas Canning and Stevie Davies... Peter Owen came later through minor bribary and the warning of his riches being taken away! Like that Disfunktional were born, from the fires of the Funk Gods themselves, well they would be if Disfunktional were funky, but to be honest they aren't overly funky they're just hotter than a steaming brew of a cold sunday morning...
