Depreciate The Liar

DE: DEPRECIATE THE LIAR wurde 2011 von Davide Puddu (Gesang), Martin Gschnitzer (Gitarre), Matthias Erlacher (Gitarre), Aaron Baldauf (Bass) und Alexander Baldassarre (Schlagzeug) gegründet. Von Anfang an war klar, dass die Band frischen Wind in die lokale Metal-Szene bringen wollte. Somit entschied man sich für die Richtung Deathcore und mit dem Songschreiben wurde sofort losgelegt. Bei den ersten Konzerten wurde festgestellt, dass die Leute etwas verwirrt darüber waren, etwas Anderes als Metal-, Hardcore zu hören. Deshalb entschied sich die Band eine EP zu veröffentlichen um die Lieder für alle zugänglich zu machen. Sie stellten die EP „Broken Structure“ als freien Download zur Verfügung. 2012 wurde die Band vom österreichischen Label „Noisehead Records“ unter Vertrag genommen und veröffentlichte im März 2014 das hart erarbeitete und lang ersehnte erste Album „Dethrone Humanity“, das in Zusammenarbeit mit Produzent Mario Jezik aufgenommen wurde. Aber das war erst der Anfang. Already at the beginning it was clear, that the band should breathe new life into the local metalscene. Therefore the members of the band decided for the style “death core” and immediately they started writing songs. When they played the first concerts they realized that a lot of people were confused to hear something different than metal, hardcore. So the band determined to produce the EP “Broken Structure”, which was available for everybody and free to download. In 2012 the band was signed on by “Noisehead Records”. In march 2014 the long desired first album „Dethrone Humanity“, recorded in cooperation with producer Mario Jezik, was released. ITA: DEPRECIATE THE LIAR è stata fondata nel 2011 da Davide Puddu (canto), Martin Gschnitzer (chitarra), Matthias Erlacher (chitarra), Aaron Baldauf (basso) e Alexander Baldassarre (batteria). Già inizialmente era chiaro, che la band voleva portare una nuova onda nella scena Metal locale. Così le canzoni scritte si dirigono verso il Deathcore, un mix tra Death Metal e Hardcore. Dopo i primi concerti le persone presenti erano molto confuse di sentire qualcos’altro che Metalcore e Hardcore, molto presente nella scena dell’Alto Adige. Per questo motivo la band decise di registrare le prime canzoni fatte su un’EP chiamata “Broken Structure” e data in carico come download gratuito. Nel 2012 si è iscritta nel Label austriaco “Noisehead Records”, con cui a Marzo 2014 hanno inciso il loro primo album “Dethrone Humanity”.
