Denial - Death Metal Band

“Denial” was founded by Olly Razorback (Killer’s Lodge, collaborations as live session player with Sadist, Cadaveria, Nerve, Raza de Odio etc …). The band was born in Genoa in 2000 out of the ashes of “Death Inside”; they offer a Progressive Melodic Death Metal more directly influenced by the aggressive but melodic rhythmical patterns of bands such as Death, Carcass, Dark Tranquility etc … After releasing its EP “ORIGIN” and a single in the compilation “Drone” for the promotion of Nadir Studio, the band established itself as part of the underground scene through to its live shows and the releasing in 2003 of another EP: Morphogenesis. After some changes in its line-up, the band and its fans are now enjoying the voice of the awesome front woman Julie Ann who already used to work for the band as arranger and author of all the lyrics. Her amazingly scratchy and visceral voice perfectly fits the death style of Denial. Is out now their debut full lenght CD "Burden of lies" under buil2kill records. In december 2016 Azoth leaves the band and he's officially replaced by with Jacopo Rossi, already Antropofagus & Dark Lunacy bass player.
