Degenerate Generation

Straight outta South Jersey, Degenerate Generation is a unique musical experience composed of four dedicated musicians; Rob Connolly on vocals, Dillon Tretter on guitar, Dimitri Almeyda on bass, and Mikey DiBernardo on drums. Originally known as The Recruits, we were set out to write reggae music similar to Sublime, Pepper, and Rebelution. With original guitarist Jake Smith, we went into the studio to record a 6 song EP. Because of musical differences, we had to part ways with Jake shortly after the EP was finished. That was when Dillon was asked to take his spot. After going through a couple different names, finding a new guitar player, and changing our sound completely, Degenerate Generation is a creative musical endeavor ready to show everyone a compelling new sound influenced from many different genres. In November of 2012, we released our debut full length composed of 15 songs. The album shows how musically diverse Degenerate Generation truly are and has gotten nothing but positive feedback. You can listen to it on our BandPage tab. We are now looking to book shows all over Jersey and possibly even out of state shows to get our name into different parts of the East Coast.
