Deep Cotton consists of two musical renegades—Nate “Rocket” Wonder and Chuck Lightning—that seem bent on proving that there is only one rule: break the rules. Like Prince, the Clash, Outkast, or Nirvana, in the liberating Deep Cotton world, guitars are getting broken, women are going to concerts in their négligée, and even grandma is twerking, while the preacher is breaking his neck, nodding his head because the truth has never sounded so damn jammin.
