About Death of a Salesman NI

"Death of A Salesman are a 4 piece Metal Band based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Coming together in late 2010. Having made an instant impression on the Irish music scene the band were booked for a wealth of shows throughout the Irish club scene and began to make a name for themselves as one of the most energetic, relentless bands in Ireland. Their growing reputation earned them support slots with Heavyweights Asking Alexandria, Lamb Of God, Sylosis, Every Time I Die, Deez Nuts and The Dead Lay Waiting, as well as local legneds Hero In Error & Red Enemy. The band released their first demo in January 2011 to acclaim from fans both old and new, selling out of all physical copies within days of release. In November 2011 the band entered the studio to record their second release "The Art Of Misdirection" released in Summer 2012 A relentless attitude to touring, and sheer determination has seen Death Of A Salesman gain momentum steadily throughout their career, and with this never say die approach, their momentum can only increase. PRESS: Sounds Good: Death of a Salesman NI return with their brand new mini EP "Vultures" and a brand new sound! Like Bring Me The Horizon and Architects, DOAS have evolved as a band. They have took the Deathcore foundation of their first album "The Art Of Misdirection" and blended it with a more Metalcore/Melodic Hardcore sound to make two of the best tracks I have heard this year so far! The biggest difference is Aidan Thompson's vocals. He has took a more clean approach that leaves you feeling more emotion in his lyrics. Personally I think that the new sound is fucking amazing. It is the type of music I enjoy listening to. It is fast, heavy and gives you that pumped up feeling during and after you have listened to the record! These tracks are by far the best material I have heard from DOAS to date. I love their older material but I can hand on heart say that I think this is the material that will lead DOAS onto better and bigger things. I wish them nothing but luck and I hope to hear more tracks like "The God That Wasn't There" and "Rothschild" in the future! BBC: Belfast based hardcore for fans of Bring Me The Horizon, The Black Dahlia Murder and Parkway Drive. Aidan's gutteral vocals scream at you over aggressive tunes offering an unrelenting sound which is just as powerful live as it is recorded. The Art of Misdirection (recorded in true rock n roll style in a mansion come studio in Essex) it's a perfectly produced aural assault and the DOAS guys command any stage they play upon."
