A minimal, techno and progressive house travel agent, Rui de la Penha is a Portuguese Dj based in Oslo. Techno has always been his main reference and once in Oslo Rui de la Penha began to play in club venues as BLÅ, Jæger, The Villa, Gudruns, Fisk&Vilt, , Turkish Delight, Skansen among other. In 2011 de la Penha held a residency at the club venue Blå (Oslo) with his “Miniklubb” and during 2012 de la Penha was a monthly resident at Fisk&Vilt (Oslo) with his concept “Restless Minds”. During 2013 with gigs in Austria, Spain, Denmark and Germany Rui de la Penha made several appearances in Oslo at Sommerøya Festival and clubs as Jæger, Gudruns, F&V, finishing the year joining “Té Dans” sessions on Saturdays at Jæger - Oslo. During 2016 Rui de la Penha has held a residency at Gudruns on “TechnoTirsdag” nights where he played from techno to progressive house. 2017 already saw Rui de la Penha playing in Portugal at the mythical club Kremlin at the “Europa Sunrise” after-hours with other dates tba during summer. Rui de la Penha explores on his sets a blend of minimal, techno and progresssive house music, where synth melodies go along with rhythmic bass lines on a strong beat which tends to take his audience on a singular musical experience!
