Days Of January

• The band was started by Mej Valencia, back in January of 2010. The original members were Mej Valencia (Vocals), Nathan Mortel (Guitar), Paul Camillon (Guitar), Jaja Dacanay (Bass), Bong Briguerra (keys) and Rage Magpali (Drums). The six of them started out as close friends before they became bandmates. Year 2011 Bong, Paul & Nathan decided to leave the band because of personal reasons. In August of 2011 David Crispino, replaced Paul as their guitarist. Few months later the band met Nikko Alejo which would later, become the band’s keyboard player and vocalist. Alec started playing as a session guitarist but after a number of shows, the band decided to make him an official guitarist. Before 2012 ended, original drummer Rage Magpali left the band. In May of 2012 Nathan Mortel reunited with the rest of the band to replace Jaja Dacanay as Bassist. In January of 2013, the band came across a drum cover by Ren Polumbarit through his Youtube channel “rendrumista” and immediately contacted him to audition for the band. He was officially added to the line up a week later. On 2014, the band entered the studios and began to work on their debut EP Album “ The Road Less Traveled “ with producers Raphael Pulgar of INTO ENTROPY RECORDINGS (Saydie, Embercore) and finished it with Emil Dela Rosa of CAMPSITE RECORDINGS. (Faintlight, Imbuenokudos, Save Me Hollywood) November 2014, Ren Polumbarit and the band parted ways. Taking the vacant drummer slot is Daryl Alvarez. For shows/bookings contact us: 0916-428-3129
