The lead single, "Florida's Warm", from 2020's "Great Satan, Mass Appeal" was featured on Spotify's Fresh Finds as well as Undercurrents and amassed over 1M streams organically *despite* the album being released the week Covid-19 lockdowns began in the US.
DAY JOY is currently working on a new concept album "Closed Caption for the Horror" with acclaimed Bright Eyes, Phoebe Bridgers, and REM producer Andy LeMaster. The lead single "Apparition Last Night Hysteria" was just released and has already been featured on 30+ playlists and publications.
DAY JOY's live lineup is a four-piece band all currently residing in Austin TX. Massive harmonies, vintage synth arrangements, catchy vocal melodies, and funky bass and drum rhythms define their live show.
