Press Text (english): Dave Echo is truly self-taught. Curious, loving of the unfamiliar and following paths of trial and error until he finds a new and original sound. In his 12 years as a musician he has played in six different bands on countless live stages with sounds ranging from Chill Out to Psychedelic Rock to Minimal Techno. This journey taught him to play a multitude of instruments, synthetic basses being his favorites and how to create genre mending and innovative productions. Countless trips through the club and festival landscape further inspired Dave’s transformation to a more electronic sound. Not too long after he began uploading his tracks online, people started to ask for releases and bookings. Four years later, Dave has played floors like Tanzwüste and Kiosk Floor and performed sets in major cities like Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris and Helsinki. He has released three albums and four EPs and his tracks have gained significant weight among the DJ-community. But mostly it’s the feeling he gets when discovering a new sound and the feedback of the fans, that inspire him to write his music.
