Chile, 1997... The electronic scene is growing with underground parties and raves. In this atmosphere is where Daniela Haverbeck got seduced by the "music from the machines" and develops as a DJ. Follower of electronic sounds since she was a child, listening musicians like Jean Michel Jarre and Kitaro and to Dance/Pop artists like Corona, Technotronic and Bjork, she was inmediately captured by raves and parties that were going on in Santiago at the end of the 90s. It was at these encounters where she fell identified with Techno and Hardcore. After some time being part of the scene as a raver, promoter and even improvising as a VJ, in 2001 she decided to buy vinyls and to learn the art of mixing records. Very soon she had her debut and from then she started to spin at small parties. A few years after her interest in cold and potent rhythms drove her into Hard Techno and Schranz: which was rising a style during that time. In her vinyl-case you could find records from the best producers of the genre: Frank Kvitta, OBI, Amok, Sven Wittekind, Arkus P, Waldhaus,Weichentechnikk, Seema, Boris S. In 2004 she decided to go to the next step and create her own tracks and in 2006 she released her first vinyl. Together with her music production came the first European tour which contemplated a few parties in Holland. One of them was: Industry of Techno, promoted by Mike Drama. This was her first gig in Europe in 2005. Then everything went quite fast: Schranz was a popular style, ruled by men, so Daniela's mixing skills, powerful beats and latin blood were easily noticed. This is how she got booked for festivals likes Mysteryland, Defqon1 and Decibel Outdoor, on her following tours during 2006, 2007 and 2008. Unsatisfied with her sound, she decided to be 100% in the studio, during 2009. That year was very productive, releasing her first work under the name of Rapunzel with Naked Lunch records. In 2010 she chose Amsterdam as her home, so she moved definitely to Holland. Her Techno tracks has been released (digital and 12") in labels like Mastertraxx, Naked Lunch and Tech Head. Her Hard Techno work can be find in Mental Torments Records, Cannibal Society and GNot... She has been performing at important clubs and festivals in Holland, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Ireland and Scotland. Unforgettable performances at Awakenings, Mysteryland, Defqon1, Decibel Outdoor, Djax it Up @ FYM, Industrial Copera, are her career´s highlights. Her Hard Techno sessions are distinguished by its dynamics, with brakes and tricks that made her mixes always something new and fresh. At the other side with Techno, she likes to build up a deep journey of hypnotic sounds, mixing with 3 decks. In 2015, she joined Solid Bookings. // BIOGRAFIA EN ESPAÑOL Chile, año 1997... La escena electrónica crece al ritmo del Techno en fiestas underground. Es en este ambiente en el que Daniela Haverbeck se impregna de la música de las máquinas y se desarrolla como Dj. Seguidora de sonidos electrónicos desde que era una niña, escuchando a músicos New Age como Jean Michel Jarre y Kitaro, y a artistas Dance/Pop como Corona, Technotronic y Björk, se sintió seducida de inmediato por las raves que se realizaban a finales de los 90 en Santiago. Fue en estos encuentros en los que ella se identificó rápidamente con el Techno y el Hardcore. Tras algunos años siendo una activa participante dentro de la escena nacional bailando, produciendo fiestas e incluso improvisando como Vj, el año 2001 decidió comprar vinilos y aprender el arte de las mezclas. Muy pronto realizó su debut y desde ahí comenzó a pinchar en pequeñas fiestas. Con los años, su gusto por los ritmos fríos y potentes la llevaron a enfocarse en el Hard Techno y Schranz, estilo que tuvo su apogeo entre los años 2004 y 2007. En su maleta de discos no faltaban vinilos de importantes productores del estilo en esa época: Frank Kvitta, OBI, Amok, Sven Wittekind, Arkus P, Waldhaus,Weichentechnikk, Seema, Boris S, entre otros... El 2004 decidió que era momento de enfocarse seriamente en este trabajo y comenzó a crear sus propios tracks, pero no fue hasta el 2006 que publicó su primer vinilo. Junto con el inicio de la producción musical, vino la primera gira a Europa: un viaje a Holanda que contemplaba un par de fiestas, entre ellas Industry of Techno, producida por Mike Drama. Este sería el primer gig en Europa para Daniela en el año 2005. A partir de ahí, todo fue bastante rápido. El Schranz era muy popular, era un mundo de hombres, por lo que Daniela llamó rápidamente la atención con su audaz técnica de mezcla, poderosos beats y sangre latina. Fue así como volvió a Europa el 2006, 2007 y 2008, para pinchar en grandes festivales como Mysteryland, Defqon1 y Decibel Outdoor... El 2009 decidió enfocarse totalmente en la producción musical, ya que estaba insatisfecha con su sonido. Ese año fue muy productivo, ya que publicó su primer material bajo el alias de Rapunzel en el reconocido sello Techno: Naked Lunch. El año 2010 Daniela escogió Amsterdam como su lugar base y se mudó definitivamente a Holanda. Sus producciones de Techno han sido publicadas (digital y 12") en sellos como Mastertraxx, Naked Lunch y Tech Head. Sus tracks de corte Hard Techno pueden ser encontrados en Mental Torments Records, Cannibal Society y Gnot. Ha estado pinchando en importantes clubes y festivales de Holanda, España, Escocia, Irlanda, Eslovenia, Portugal, Rusia, República Checa... Inolvidables presentaciones en grandes eventos como Awakenings, Mysteryland, Defqon1, Decibel Outdoor, Djax it Up @ FYM, Industrial Copera, son destacados en su trayectoria. Sus sesiones de Hard Techno son reconocidas por su dinamismo y velocidad, con cortes y juegos permanentes que hacen de sus mixes una experiencia siempre diferente. Por otro lado, cuando de Techno se trata, Daniela disfruta construyendo nuevas sonoridades, trabajando sus mezclas con 3 decks que llevan a la audiencia a un viaje profundo e hipnótico.
