23 Year old Dalton Black calls home Nashville, TN but was raised in Knoxville, TN. It does not take long for anyone to realize that this singer-songwriter is influenced by his musical hero Johnny Cash. Johnny would of loved Dalton, he is as authentic as they come. He walks, writes and performs to his own beating drum. If you ask Dalton his genre, he says "My Own! I'm country with an Americana folk flair". I just let my fingers and my mind write the songs and what comes out is what I deliver. Dalton grew up watching his Papaw Jack pick his guitar. His earliest memories of singing were with his Paw Paw singing "Rocky Top and Mama's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys". Dalton signed with Heart Songs Records August 2017.
