Daisie May

Described as “post-feminist heart-on-sleeve lyrics with indie rock and punk energy” (Time Off Magazine), irreverent Brisbane rockers Daisie May will make your hair dance. Their riffs and hooks combine with catchy melodies to create the sultry, sexual rock sound of this dynamic four piece. Lead by French-born songstress Pauline Maudy, Daisie May are a band to watch. For a band yet to release their debut they have accumulated more notches on their belts than they care to admit. In 2009 the four-piece was picked up to tour regional as part of the Q150 Shed tour and Queensland’s 150 years celebrations. In 2011 Daisie May started work with producer James North and recorded a collection of their best songs. The band’s single Baby’s Alright was featured on compilation Brisbane Sounds #5.
