Dagger of Betrayal

Dagger of Betrayal is a modern death metal band from Thessaloniki, Greece. It’s a five piece act and the line up consists of: Aggelos Tzamtzis (guitar), Akis Faust(guitar), Kostantinos Noulas (drums), Stefanos Labridis (bass) and Antonis Dimitriou (vocals). They have released ‘’Retribution’’ which is four track demo on March, 2011, It was recorded, mixed and mastered by Stelios ‘’Stelth’’ Koslidis (Muder Made God, Mass Infection, Head Cleaner). After the release of their demo the band received a positive feedback and there were many good reviews about it, such as from Lords of Metal, a metal e-zine which gave ‘’Retribution’’ a high rating. Dagger of Betrayal have also appeared and interviewed by the greek Metal Hammer magazine where ‘’Retribution’’ was featured as a demo release of the month and received a high rating (9/10). Dagger of Betrayal is an active band when it comes to live performance. They have shared the stage with many local bands and with bands from other cities and regions. They have played in several greek metal music festivals and events all around Greece and they were also a support band for: Heaven Shall Burn,Unearth,The Agonist. Nightrage, Onslaught,Born from Pain. After composing new material, the band recorded their first full length album which is entitled ‘’Paradox Hive’’. It was recorded again by Stelios ‘’Stelth’’ Koslidis and contains two re-recorded tracks from their demo and seven new tracks. ‘’Paradox Hive’’ released on the 3rd of November 2013.
