About DKDent
The German duo DKDENT consists of Dirk Krause (music, programming, synthesizers) and Stephanie Baudler (lyrics, vocals). The cities they live in have a long tradition of electronic music: Dirk comes from Düsseldorf, known for bands like Kraftwerk and Die Krupps, Stephanie from Cologne, the homebase of Mouse On Mars.
They met in 2002 and started to record their first demos in 2003 followed by a couple of live appearences.
In 2006 they met Bob Kraushaar, known for productions for the Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, Andy Gill, Kylie Minogue, and he agreed on mixing the album they had just finished recording.
Some of these tracks have been released in November 2006 on the EP called "Teenage Love" and the release of their debut album is scheduled for spring 2007.
DKDENT are currently taking part in a band contest of the VW Soundfoundation on www.soundfoundation.de
