Conroy Ross

Conroy Ross is an alternative rock producer from Western Canada. Multi-faceted Conroy Ross mixes influences from all music genres through completely awing use of guitar playing and independant music productions. Influences are Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Marianas Trench, B.O.B, Macklemore, Calvin Harris, Rise Against, Pretty Lights, and Nero. His 15 years involved with music resonates his notes with maturity as he steps into his early 20’s. #Conroycoversit is a playlist of songs covered throughout his career with bands in British Columbia. In 2006 Ross toured western Canada with The MacGregors, an original Christian rock group with two talented sisters leading the way with melodic violin/fiddle, strong guitar rhythms and piano. Ross was winning awards and playing at high demand venues in the Okanagan while still underage. Ross also played bass, acoustic and sang with the Jackson Cook band through late 2000's and with a cover band called Out of Eden in Kelowna for 6 years. Him and his family moved to Kelowna when Conroy was nine because he had severe asthma trouble as a child and was advised to move as quickly as possible to a climate with better conditions for people with asthma. At age 11 he started playing the guitar and formed a band with his older brother James on drums and never looked back.
