About Climbing Blind

We're just a bunch of friends interested in the spiritual well being of our brothers and sisters who do the everyday thing called life right along side us. We have a heart to for worship and strive to live lives that reflect the same. We would love to get to know you and share how God is moving in your life! Our name, Climbing Blind, comes from the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19:1-10. If you don't know the story, here it is. "And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today I must abide at thy house. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. And Zachaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." --Luke 19:1-10 KJV We chose the name Climbing Blind because it is a testament to what we are all about. The word 'Climbing' refers to the desire to see Jesus, just as Zacchaeus did. The word Blind is derived from the the fact that he was blind to Jesus. Since he couldn't see Him, he took that first initial step to climb not knowing what he was going to see or what was going to happen later. Just like Zacchaeus, whether a new believer or a Christian going into any situation, we don't always know what's ahead of us. So that's what we are all about, leading people in worship and helping them to take that initial step of faith in following a God who is bigger than anything we could ever imagine or any mountain we could ever come up against. Keep in touch, there is much to look forward to from Climbing Blind! FOR BOOKING, SEE CONTACT INFORMATION!
