About Claire Fowler

CLAIRE FOWLER, singer-songwriter and philanthropist, is only 19 but already an extremely accomplished artist. The Texas native was cast in lead roles in numerous stage shows from an early age. Born into singing, she picked up guitar and piano before she started writing songs at the age of 15. Featured in the August 2012 issue of Alternative Press, Claire is a rare talent with a powerful voice and heartwarming charm. Influenced by jazz, R&B, indie, and pop, Claire’s eclectic style falls loosely in the alternative pop category. Her insightful music ranges from soulful ballads to punchy dance tracks. At 19, Claire’s music seems to come from an old soul. Claire has worked on projects with noted songwriters and producers including The Daylights, D’Mile, Boogie Wizzard, Chris Medina, Jeremy Smith, Lee Anna James, Eric Faires, and Russell Ali. Claire recently opened a sold-out show at House of Blues Dallas for Never Shout Never, played at Six Flags for the Idol World Tour, and performed at SXSW. As founder of The Clarity Charity, Claire both wrote and served as Executive Producer on the song Making a Christmas. The Clarity Charity is a group of talented musicians and artists from around the country who offer their voices and talents to bring awareness to children's charities of all types and encourage the spirit of giving no matter the season. The most recent project directed 100% of the song’s proceeds to Cook Children’s Hospital. Artists joining Claire on this effort included: · Singer/choreographer/dancer Benji Schwimmer, winner of “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 2 · 15 year old singer/songwriter/musician Matt Johnson, featured on Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing and other national shows · Acoustic/soul rocker Ryan Edgar and singer/songwriter Kirk Thurmond – both featured on the hit TV show “Texas Troubadour” · Cameron Dettman, lead singer/guitarist for the band Play For Keeps · Noted jazz and blues pianist/composer Julie Bonk, who has toured with numerous well-known musicians · Dynamic young blues rocker Hunter Hendrickson Claire just completed her debut EP set to release Fall 2012.
