Cities of Refuge

We pride ourselves in being one of Arizona’s most respected local Christian bands in the hardcore scene. We are the band that introduces many people to heavier music, people have said they're good, not my music, but there fun and interesting I like them. We are a Christian band, but we aren’t preachy about it we just play and take some time in our set to share our beliefs with the crowd because we believe that God has called us to play music. We have a full length self titled album out, it has 11 tracks and has hit reverbnations top az metal charts in 2012. We write lyrics based on our walk with Christ, and the struggles we encounter along the way. We work with click tracks to ensure professionalism and that we are solid at every show. We have orchestra samples, hard hitting breakdowns, singalong choruses, and poppy 2 step riffs. We have a full stage set up boxes, amp covers, guitar amps, cabs, full drum set, our own DI boxes, and our own vocal mics. We try to maintain the mindset of "we are a professional band without the label.” We are not trying to be cocky or prideful, we just want to be the best that we can be and this is our dream and we are willing to work as hard as we need to accomplish it. God has a plan for all of us, and we ensure he is first in our lives and in our band. Self-titled CD out now!
