Loyal to the spirit of 70’s and 80’s Blues, Rock and Soul, she evokes the legends of old while her sound remains right up to date. Inspired by legends such as Tina Turner, Melissa Etheridge, Janis Joplin, Beth Hart and Aretha Franklin, her songs have a dynamic gritty sound with an ironic twist – yet she can also reach your heart with a touching ballad. On stage she wins over her audiences with her dazzling performance as she sparkles with sultry passion and charisma.

Cherilyn was born into a family of musicians and always seemed destined to enter the world of music. At the age of 9 she had her first gig presenting her own songs on vocals, piano and guitar. Since then she has played with Germany’s most successful bands and toured Europe and the Far East (Tour in Dalian, China and Tokyo, Japan). She has written songs with German producers for broadcast stars (Germany’s got talent), been a performance coach for several artists and organised the biggest Jam Session in her region to support other musicians.

In 2016 she decided to pursue her own path and moved to London to study Songwriting and Artist Development at ACM, Europe’s leader for contemporary music. She has been mentored by industry professionals like Kieron Pepper (Prodigy), Ace (Skunk Anansie), Tim Hawes (Songwriter for Spice Girls) or Colin Doran (Hundred Reasons). Recently she produces her first EP with inter alia Alan Glass (producer of Aretha Franklin, Caught in the Act, Mis- Teeq) at Metropolis Studios (Adele, Amy Winehouse and Queen).

She soon has got established in London’s Blues scene and meanwhile can be seen regularly performing with her band around great venues in London (e.g. Blues Kitchen, Metropolis Studio, Notting Hill Arts Club…) .
