About Chasen

Chasen Callahan was born and raised in the mountains of Greenville, SC, where he became a singer/songwriter while serving as a worship pastor at Marathon Church.

Over the years he has had several accomplishments, including having two #1 hit songs on national Christian radio for almost 6 months of that year – “On & On” and “Castaway” from his second album, “That Was Then This is Now.” Then two independent hits “Crazy Beautiful” and “Drown” from the “Shine Through The Stars” album.

Chasen and band mates Aaron Lord, Evan Silver, and Jared Barber toured worldwide performing nearly 200+ performances in one year including the famous Red Rocks in beautiful Colorado, partnering with the Billy Graham association and leading worship to thousands at crusades. Chasen and the guys toured with bands such as Jeremy Camp, The Afters, Jason Gray, Kutless, Disciple, and many more. Chasen played big festivals across the USA with the likes of Toby Mac, Newsboys, Casting Crowns, Building 429 and many more. Chasen was signed to INO records, home of Mercy Me, Phil Wickham, Skillet and many more.

Chasen and the guys were together as a band for more than eight years before taking a break. Chasen Callahan continued to do solo conferences and worship performances for a couple more years. After much exhaustion Chasen decided to focus his attention on His family and his local church, Marathon Church, where he and his wife, Casey Callahan, continue to lead the family ministry departments. Chasen and Casey have pursued their calling in ministry and have reached hundreds of children and students through their ministry.

Chasen continued to write songs and after a long hiatus, with a refocused vision, Chasen and Casey now enter a new season where songs and ministry collide.

In February of 2021, Chasen partnered with his church and released “Heartbeat Symphony” to start his comeback to the music industry. He followed that with his first release, “Running,” from his upcoming third album. Releasing Summer 2021, Chasen’s new album is produced by Nashville native, Carter Frodge, and Grammy-nominated Chuck Butler.

Chasen plans to tour again with a renewed heart, new vision, and updated sound. While touring, he will continue his role at Marathon Church and serve as the Camp Pastor of Orchard Hill Camp, founded by Chasen and Casey, in Partnership with Marathon Church.

Whether it’s performing to hundreds or thousands, Chasen’s heart for growing the Kingdom of God has never changed. His prayer, in everything he is a part of, is for people to see the love of Jesus more clearly.
