Early 2010, a sound began creeping from beneath a garage door in Albuquerque, New Mexico. And despite the neighbors complaints, it began to sound more and more like music. Intricate guitar harmonies, simple yet technical riffs, the sprinting feet of a drummer, powerful vocals and ground vibrating bass began building what was to become Cast In Your Shadow. A combination of modern metalcore, ambiance and classic metal techniques builds a sound truly unique to the band, as everyone comes from a different background. As every band sees, people have come and gone ranging from bassists, vocalists and guitarists, but even when it got down to a guitarist and a drummer, the concept persevered and recovered. Today Cast In Your Shadow stands as a local force to be reckoned with with hopes to travel outside of New Mexico. The upcoming release of their full-length production "On False Winds We Sail" will be an integral part of their push to travel.
