About Caseroloops

CASEROLOOPS is an electronic/Caribbean musical project created by lead singer, composer, producer Hector Martinez and the Dj/EMP/Sound Engineer Orlando Barranco by the end of 2007. The project started basically as experimentation. Hector wanted to create music in an easier way than his last experiences in a rock band, he wanted no too much filters in the creative process as uses to happen when you work in a band. In the other hand, Orlando was trying to make some vocal house tracks until he got a call from Hector to make an ''electronic and latin loops based'' live performance in a club. It was a blast and the agreed to make some records together By the end of 2007 CASEROLOOPS releases an EP including the tracks ''Contigo'' ''Como Cavernicolas'' ''La Puerta'' and ''Todo se va'' and immediately start to rotate in different radio stations all over Venezuela. A prestigious venezuelan coconut rum brand chose CASEROLOOPS as opening act band on the releasing party of its product ''Naiguata'' . Given the situation, it was necessary have a backing band for touring, so Orlando and Hector called to their friends who collaborated in the recording of the EP: Miguel ''Mickey'' Bermudez on Timbal, Richard Queipo on Congas and Luis Borges on Guitar. 2008 was a year of a lot of touring and promotion in Venezuela.
