About Capital H
CAPITAL H takes you on a journey through the middle of nowhere and tells you stories of long forgotten land beyond the horizon and broken love. aesthetic melodies create a whirlwind of emotion with their yearning and aggressive blend of pop and rock.
Formed in 2014, -- Consisting of vocalist Sean Buchanan, guitarists Ken Geeler and Kay Wolf, bassist Yann Schütz and drummer Tiago Laely -- quickly caught the attention of the audience with their song Good Radio Station. The Song motivated the band to reach higher goals and so they kept on writing new songs. The audience’s favourite The Mask was written at the end of 2014 and was played on multiple concerts in the following year along with 6 other songs. 2016 followed and 3 new songs were added to the set, while the existing songs have been revised.
2017 the band starts with new song rain and drives the number of fans in higher altitude.
Sean Buchanan and Levin Martin founded CAPITAL H. The name and logo was created by a word with two different meanings.
The H stands for the original location of the band room, which was stationed at Helmweg.
The word «Capital» is viewed differently by the two founders.
The band room is to serve as the capital for the ideas of the band and so Sean translated the word «Capital» as town capital. Levin looked at the word as a «capital letter», which led to the logo design, namely a large H.
