Canvas Radio

Canvas Radio, a name born by combining the idea that both the canvas and radio, are two mediums that allow an artist of sorts to share their works with the masses; and in the Spring of 2010, the native Staten Island, New York band that bares it's name was founded when longtime friends and inseparable duo, drummer Greg Schwab and bassist Mike Diamantopoulos teamed up with an old acquaintance in singer/songwriter Charlie Toro to put together a collection of cleverly crafted, upbeat, listener friendly songs that incorporate a foundation of Folk-Rock and mix of Alternative, Blues and Jazz along with lyrics that speak of many a human element. While the old saying goes - "A painter paints their pictures on canvas but, musicians paint their pictures on silence." - Canvas Radio continues to challenge itself to paint its own brand of creative evolution to share with the world.
