Cameron Hawthorn

Cameron Hawthorn represents an exciting new future for country music as an American singer-songwriter. His stunning vocals and songwriting blend elements of Country, Americana, Folk, and Pop/Rock to put him in a league of his own. Hailing from a small town in Kansas, he attributes his years of growing up in the Midwest to the authentic and honest storytelling found in his music. The emerging crooner made a buzz in 2019 with his single, “Dancing In the Living Room,” getting coverage from People Magazine, CMT, Logo, The Advocate, Huffington Post, as well as several other publications.

In 2020, Hawthorn released his project “Mustang” - a 5 song EP with original songs about finding and becoming your truest, most vulnerable self. With support from mainstream media like CMT, Rolling Stone Country, and American Songwriter, Cameron has been able to tell his story of being a country artist who is a part of the LGBTQ+ community to a country music-loving world that may not have heard a story like his until now.

As an independent artist, Cameron continues to write and sing about his journey as a country boy who has most recently made his way back to the country after living in LA, Nashville, and now putting his roots down in Texas. He released his single “Nothing Like A Cowboy” earlier this year and most recently joined up with New York DJ and producer Bright Light Bright Light to write “Country Boy Two-Step”, a boot-scootin' club beat anthem which Queerty included on its hottest collabs of the summer.

From being a reoccurring artist on Apple Music’s Proud Radio, having his music featured on Sirius XM radio, and landing his latest single on Spotify’s New Music Friday Country playlist, Cameron Hawthorn is an artist on the rise to watch.
