I have been writing songs since the age of 5 following the trauma of realizing the implications of my own mortality. Also, creating anything--a song, drawing, photograph, story, friendship, love, and so on--just feels good. Pain is the price we pay to experience life in a physical form. I seek to transcend pain by turning mine into something beautiful, which yields pleasure...for a moment...and these moments add up to a life well-lived in the face of death.
