Bizzythowed

Urban hardrocker, Bizzythowed, released his new EP, Blank Check, Vol. 1, April 8, 2016. Blank Check, Vol. 1 is the debut full-length from the Texas-based writer/producer. Bizzythowed has worked alongside some of the music industry’s biggest names, including The Weeknd, Nicki Minaj and Fabolous. Bizzythowed was raised in the gritty 3rd Ward neighborhood in Houston, the fourth largest city in the U.S. When his father passed at 11 years old, the guitar soon became a daily fixation for Bizzy as he found solace in the music that flowed from his fingertips. Throughout his musical upbringing, he stood out as the only rocker in his neighborhood. The gangster-rap culture that permeated Houston in the mid to late nineties surrounded him as a teen. He often found himself late night, buried in away in studios, with the likes of the Screwed Up Click who is attributed to crafting the modern sound of the city. Being around influential people at a young age allowed Bizzy to carve his own path of originality. After high school, he found himself attending Berklee College of Music. From Boston he moved to Miami where he worked with the likes of 8 Ball & MJG, Flo Rida, Pitbull, and Nicki Minaj. These placements lead to him co-producing the hit song “Pretty” as well as performing all guitar and bass duties on the critically acclaimed album Kissland by the Weeknd, and a large portion of guitar duties on the 2016 Grammy Award Winning (Best Urban Contemporary) Beauty Behind The Madness by The Weeknd. After his successful stint working with The Weeknd, and dedicating his talents to the success of others, Bizzy is stepping out to blaze his own trail through the watered-down landscape of modern music.
