Birthrite

Birthrite are from the Black Country, and do hard edged Steampunk. Steampunk offers diversity, vintage style and non-conformity. We splice this up with energy and electric guitars. This is a fully electric band and this is a hard edged sound in the 21st Century with the exuberance and imagination of the 19th. Originally formed in 2008 by Erazamus Voss and Johnny Zygen, who had previously worked on several collaborations, they were joined in 2010 by Mark Thinsliced, who was looking for a Steampunk band with teeth. The newest member of the band is drummer Dr. Perkin Zephaniah, who joined in 2014. Birthrite are highly visual, aurally eclectic, provide an energetic live show, and put 120% into everything.
