Risen from the depths of the Austrian underground in the year 1993 BEREAVEMENT was one of the first death metal acts in this realm. After the split in 1995 and the reincarnation in 2002 the Upper Austrian band recorded a demo „Mass Execution“ in 2004, went through a number of lineup changes and got through a long way of playing gigs and song enhancing before they began to record their first full-length album. The „Ingenious Encounter“ entitled longplayer was released on the 8th of December 2014 via bandcamp.com as a digital release and as a digipak cd through the band itself. With their debut album they made a fundamental statement. The sublimity of their music is a characteristic result of the massive influence of the US death metal. Mixed with their own creation of imagination BEREAVEMENT generate their definition of death metal without any compromise. With „Ingenious Encounter“ they are ready to conquer the rest of the world. ------------------------ Aus den Tiefen des Österreichischen Untergrundes entsprungen waren BEREAVEMENT 1993 eine der ersten Death Metal Bands in dieser Region. Nach der Auflösung 1995 und der Wiedergeburt im Jahre 2002 nahmen die Oberösterreicher 2004 das Demo „Mass Execution“ auf, hatten mehrere Bandbesetzungswechsel, spielten unzählige Gigs und verbesserten unaufhörlich ihre Songs bis sie letztendlich begannen ihr Debutalbum aufzunehmen. Die „Ingenious Encounter“ betitelte Langrille wurde via bandcamp.com am 8. Dezember 2014 als digitales Downloadformat und durch die Band selber als Digipak CD veröffentlicht. Mit ihrem Debutalbum setzten sie ein fundamentales Statement. Die Erhabenheit ihrer Musik ist ein charakteristisches Ergebnis des massiven Einflusses des US Death Metals. Vermischt mit der Kreation ihrer Vorstellungskraft erschaffen BEREAVEMENT ihre Definition von Death Metal ohne jegliche Kompromisse.
