Beneath the Darkness

"Though Beneath The Darkness are still a young band, they certainly know their way around their instruments and have a knack for writing infectiously good tracks." - Valkyrian Music Formed in 2012 and started to write 16th April. Based in Hull and originally made up of 6 members but following the leaving of our original lead guitarist in June we've decided to play with just Kieran Reilly as a solo guitarist who has flourished in the new role with the help of a dedicated rhythm section consisting of John Holbrook on drums and Mike Baker playing Bass as well as the talented Miles Barber bringing Deep Lows and Impressive Highs as our scream style vocalist. Currently playing mostly local gigs and making an effort to get their name out in other places around the UK, having supported and played with the likes of The Colour Line, Shadows Chasing Ghosts, Actions To Onslaught, Foundations, Shot Down Stay Down, Black Dogs, Raven-Face, Scream Blue Murder, Blind Ambitions and having the honor of headlining a tent at Tribfest 2012. You can expect energy and diversity from a BTD performance, with melodic verses being paired with driving beats, intelligent and thoughtful lyrics delivered with passion and aggression but most of all a smile and a laugh!
