Behind The Heart

Behind The Heart was started as a side project when former band members Dean (From Derailed) and Judah (From Reckless Abandon) wanted to start a band combining both of their musical backgrounds. After months of writing together, Nick (Deans Brother) joined the band creating a three piece acoustic band, playing winter shows and continued writing. With hopes of creating a full band they introduced Peter Crumb, a local drummer and long time friend, into the band, who fit right in. But with more than just music in mind, the guys wanted to start a movement that promotes love that truly comes from the hearts of the very teens who are exposed to music daily. Behind The Heart continues playing shows and writing. But most importantly, pouring out our love to the broken. Behind the Heart is a punk/alternative band from Chicago, Illinois. They play shows around illinois and play original music.
