About Gonzalo Guarino:
Gonzalo Guarino was born in 1987 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His passion for music started very young playing various instruments such as piano, guitar and bass. After 10 years he moved to Brazil where he further enhanced his love for music playing and experimenting with different rhythms and styles, mainly rock, blues & jazz combined with electronic influences of various composers from the Rolling Stones and Metallica to Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Peter Kruder, Tosca, St. Germain through Underworld, Richie Hawtin, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, and many more ...
He began his career at age 17 as a DJ playing at various clubs and parties such as Privilege (Búzios), Pacha (Búzios), Fishbone Beach Club (Búzios), Silk Beach Club (Búzios), The Trip (Buenos Aires & Búzios), Bunker (Rio de Janeiro), etc. ...... Where he shared decks with James Monro (4Digital Audio), Anderson Noise (Noise Music), Junior Lopez (Acktivism), Cesar del Rio (Privilege Ibiza), Flew & Zeo (Kling Klong), among others ... Proving its quality behind the decks, was hired as resident in the Deep Buzios (Brazil), also dedicated to organize events and parties in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires.
Always interested in electronic music production, moved to Spain (Valencia), to further enhance his skills to produce his first tracks and direct resident at Nasty Cube party, where he learned & shared decks with some of the best producers & DJs in the scene as Maetrik/Maceo Plex (Cocoon), Affkt (Noir Music), Digitaria (Hot Creations), Roland M Dill (Trapez), Applescal (Trapez), Shall Ocin (Culprit), Danny Fiddo (Barraca Music), Edu Imbernon (Eklektish Rec), Los Suruba (Still Vor Talent), Oscar Barila (Kling Klong), Daniel Kyo (Loudest) among others ... Performing at the best clubs in Valencia like: Miniclub, The Face, Spook, La 3 (The Mill), La Room, etc ...
After several years experimenting and producing launches its first digital references with Sweet Noise NetLabel, called 16-Bit EP, with remixes of Dirty Room; Also with the italian label Halfmoon Records and realize his new project "Barech" with the american label Heavenly Bodies Records, among others. Supported by Maceo Plex, Digitaria, Shall Ocin, Claude VonStroke, James Zabiela, Affkt, Franco Bianco, Slam, Simina Grigoriu, etc..
His musical style goes from the deep house & minimal techno to the techouse, always with a prominent deep groove, without leaving aside the electro roots from the 80´s & 70´s...
