About Aymargeddon

Known as "The Voice of Darkness", heavy metal vocalist Tim Aymar's lyrical and vocal expression epitomize the spirit of true heavy metal. Born screaming, bloody and naked in sub-rural southwest Pennsylvania, he began music studies at age 9, joined his first band at age 15 and by his mid 20's he was dubbed king of Pittsburgh's now defunct hard rock/metal scene, as frontman for 313, Dr. No, Triple - X and Psycho Scream. Since then, Tim has taken his talent far beyond even his own expectations. His most famous band to date is Control Denied, which was a melodic reincarnation of the 90's death metal band, DEATH, led by legendary guitarist Chuck Schuldiner, who died shortly after the release of their debut album "The Fragile Art Of Existence". The band was originally signed to Nuclear Blast (America) and are now at home with Relapse records. Aymar has proudly held his position as co-writer/vocalist of Philadelphia's prominent progressive power metal band, Pharaoh since their debut in 2003. As the first band on the roster of Cruz Del Sur Music in Rome, they remain in rule, with 6 releases, one more in the making, and are contracted for at least 2 more full length albums in the future. Tim re-relocated to sing for XTHIRT13N, a progressive/modern metal band based in Tampa, Florida. Thier debut CD "A Taste Of The Light" was released in Europe on October 21st, 2014, and quickly hit the charts at #3 in Europe (tied with Venom) and #13 in the US (AC/DC at #14). This is extremely uncommon for a new, unsigned band. But somehow the bottom dropped out on that, but that's showbiz. Tim is currently teaching traditional Bel-Canto style voice technique live, online at lessonface.com and JamKazam.com where he also offers his skills as a Session Vocalist and Recording Engineer/Producer. When Tim is not living and breathing molten metal with Pharaoh and XTHIRT13N, or mixing and mastering even more, he enjoys his downtime by sleeping late, visiting his friends and their pets, and admiring the moon and stars. Heavy Metal Vocalist, Tim Aymar of XThirt13n, Pharaoh, Control Denied, Aymargeddon, Vicious Cycle, Psycho Scream, and other projects past and present.
