Audemia are collecting an impressive legion of fans, not only in Australia, but also overseas, particularly in Europe and USA as their fan base continues to grow worldwide. opening shows and sharing the stage with bands such as The Superjesus (The Resurrection Tour 2013), Mark Seymour ( Hunters and Collectors) Kate De Arouge ( Aria award winner and Australian Idol Winner) and Paul Woseen (The Screaming Jets) on his Solo Debut album Launch “Bombido“, a support show again with Sarah Mcleod (The Superjesus) and Jeff Martin (The Tea Party) on their solo album tour. Audemia have also shared the stage with musicians such as Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon) Pat Davern (Grinspoon) Jake Stone (BLUEJUICE), Bellusira and after AUDEMIA were added to the BIG DAY OUT bill for 2014, winning a Nation Wide Competition, hit the stage with some of the biggest names in music most notably PEARL JAM, SNOOP LION, DEFTONES, ARCADE FIRE just to name a few! In 2013, Audemia were also awarded the Torrent This Bellarine Peninsula's "BEST ROCK BAND" and were also awarded the "WORKHORSE AWARD". Audemia have had their tracks made played on community radio in Geelong, Bendigo, The Murray Valley Region and Melbourne, with Pulse Fm Geelong playing their tracks regularly, making their COMMERCIAL RADIO DEBUT on K-Rock95.5fm in October2013, and getting consistent airplay on AUSTEREO Network Triple M Australia Wide. Audemia began as a 3 piece band in 2010 playing undecided-genre music. A few drummer changes and a Jacob (2nd guitar and 2nd vocals) later, Audemia are now a powerful vessel on the open waters that are the Victorian rock scene. Having organically honed into their specific brand of hard/alternative rock, Audemia somewhat pick up where the 90s left off with a fuller, beefier slightly more polished and modern sounding blend of grunge, alternative, post-grunge (apparently that's a real thing), sugar, spice and all things nice Audemia Consist of: Lead Vocals and Bassist – Tony Lead Guitarist – Dave Guitar and Vocals Jacob Drums – John Audemia's self titled Ep "The ONE" has sold an unexpected amount of copies and is sure to please anyone who has not yet heard it. Of course we have influences, all musicians have influences; the only people who wouldn’t be in any way influenced would be Eskimos, if you gave instruments to Eskimos, they would trump us in terms of originality, because they would have no refer- ence to work from. Whether subconsciously influenced or not, we maintain that our music is a natural crea- tion, which is most definitely not in any way a recreation of an older artist or a Frankenstein of other artists, which sadly, seems to be the way music is created nowadays. If one of our songs sounds like another band, it was a fluke”. The name Audemia is a condensing of Audrey, Emily and Mia. Audrey being the daughter of Elie, (founding drummer) Emily and Mia the daughters of Tony.
