Long before the dawn of history, humanity looked to the stars with awe and wonder. In them our ancient ancestor saw patterns, constellations, and signs. They watched as a procession of mythic, god-like beings moved in an orderly way across the heavens. Seeking the wisdom, power, and universal love they ascribed to these magnificent beings, our ancestors devised rituals, symbols, and myths in imitation of what of what they saw, in the hopes that through this imitation, they would come into communion with these forces, and bring their influence down to the Earth.
