As Darkness Falls

Pure Detroit Metal. It once meant something put out by Ford, GM or Chrysler. It was also a product that was tough, enduring and the best there is on the market. Well, all these things are true today except for who it comes from. If you want something with all these qualities there is only one source of pure Detroit metal and that is from the band "As Darkness Falls." Forging their path for several years under their original moniker "Chaos Theory", the members of As Darkness Falls have worked to become one of the biggest and most popular metal bands in the metro Detroit area and beyond. Fusing vicious brutality with infectious melody, groove and hooks, As Darkness Falls maintains a versatile appeal to an array of different music fans, while still maintaining a core sound. There's something for everybody and because of that, this band manages to harbor a diverse fanbase; from fans of metal and rock to alternative and even hardcore and punk. This vast appeal is one of the main things that so many other bands fail to have going for them. That's what makes this band interesting. An amazing stage presence and attitude are a part of every show and it's always entertaining. Fan favorites like “Misery”, “Deadbeat”, "Tragedy" or “Creation Divine” have the crowds singing all the words. Those who don’t know the words, or those that just prefer not to sing can be seen head banging along with fists in the air or bouncing around in a crowded pit of energy. Everyone that attends an ADF show has a great time. That’s a guarantee. As "Chaos Theory", they released a much talked about debut EP in late 2008 - titled "The Art of War" - and were offered a development deal with DBM Records. The year 2010 brought the full length album "Retaliation" - produced by Josh Wickman (Metal Blade, Victory, Earache Records) and continues to receive radio play on several FM and internet radio stations. The band was also nominated for back to back Detroit Music Awards for 2009, 2010 and 2011, and have played all of the best clubs and theaters around the metro Detroit area and state of Michigan, as well as regionally. And they're not stopping there. The band has achieved many great things that are so important to continuously keep taking things to the next level. By early 2012, after several years of performing under the name "Chaos Theory," the band was forced to retire their long-standing identity, and re-emerge under a new name - AS DARKNESS FALLS. Armed with a new name and new material (as well as carrying on the previous material written under the Chaos Theory name) the band is back, stronger than ever. The mission?
