About Arisen From Nothing
In 2017, AFN is back with a new lineup. The band welcomes new vocalist Jessie Brigham, and drummer Brandon Fuller, added with band’s still new shredder, Steven Pontius on lead guitar, and original members Eric Hanson and Troy Elmore, the group is ready for an all out assault on Northwest metal.
This powerful new five piece has just released it's first effort together, a five song EP titled "BROKEN" on Collective Wave Records. The disc was released on September 29th, 2017.
An advanced cut from "Broken" has been receiving radio airplay on Spokane's KHTQ 94.5 FM along with 2016's "What Doesn't Kill Me” and 2012's “In Nothing We Trust” which have been added to the stations permanent rotation.
AFN’s has long been known for trademark groove oriented hooks and deeply riff driven backbone. This continues today and continues to grow in a greatly expanded sound.
There is a lot to look forward to, Brigham's heavy vocal style, along with Fuller’s crushing drums and Pontius' guitar will modernize AFN sound to and please fans of modern heavy metal.
