Anacortes

anacortes was founded by Chris Gabriel and Shane Chapman in 2013. Since then the band has been through a couple of iterations beginning with Chris moving to LA. These days we have Jent LaPalm on Bass, Emilio Tostado on guitar and Jim Bloom on drums. The first album features songs inspired by the quiet streets of NYC in a snow storm, and traveling back and forth to Shane's hometown as his dad battled pancreatic cancer. We're currently working on our second album (Emilio is doing some overdubs as I type this). anacortes is a journey that explores the gray lines of disaster and joy, and the cycles we all go through repeating the same mistakes until we get it right, or not sometimes. mama-say-mama-sa-mamakusa
