Alabama Limo

Singer-songwriter Lucas DiMatteo met bassist Jason Bogart(formerly of the successful regional act Tuckered, out of Raleigh, NC) one afternoon on the Decatur Square where they had an impromptu jam to about 12 or so onlookers. Those onlookers gathered listening more closely, and after a few hours the fellas knew they were onto something. The duo began looking for the missing pieces to this musical puzzle. They quickly enlisted Jeremy Dickens on lead guitar and the three began rehearsing and writing. The final member came in the form of wiry 22 year-old A.I.M. student Paul Bilbrey, who had the chops of someone twice his senior.
Since then boys have been playing to crowds in town that continue to grow. "Folks might come as friends or strangers, but they all leave as fans." Alabama Limo has been featured as one of Atlanta's favorite bands in The Silver Tongue; an online magazine. They can also be heard regularly on Album 88 (88.5 for those who haven't heard of this highly respected Atlanta radio station). Atlanta based original rock band that draws on the roots of blues and country. Some songs delve into heavier rock realm. Lyrics are sharp and poignant, passionately delivered. Guitar solos squelch beautifully, bass lines are hooky as hell, drummer's a human clock, and the harmonies are oh so sweet.
