About Abbey Miller Music

Abbey Miller is a 15 year old singer/songwriter based in Denver, CO. She found an interest in music at a young age and learned how to play guitar at the age of 10. She joined the performance program with the Denver School of Rock in 2010 and performed her very first live concert on January 29, 2011. She continued to perform with the School of Rock up until the beginning of 2013. She decided after spending a few years with the Denver School of Rock that she had a passion for solo performance and so she decided to become a solo artist. Her first headline concert was on March 2, 2013. Shortly after, she was nominated for the Colorado Solo Artist Award 2013. She was the youngest person nominated for the award. She was recognized by the one and only Ed Sheeran on February 5, 2013 and they ended up singing his song "The A Team" together in front of a small crowd. As 2013 went on, she started to write more songs and she even released 3 originals onto her youtube. Her first original song she released was "Take Me Away" which she wrote about someone close to her that she had lost in January to cancer. Her second song she released was "Stick By Me" which was a message to her fans (known as Abstars) telling them that she will never give up as long as they stick by her. The 3rd song she released is known as "One Step at a Time (Josie)" in which she addresses those going through struggles. Abbey has been told that she has helped many people out through this one particular song and she is very glad it has helped people out through tough times. Abbey auditioned for The X Factor (USA) and America's Got Talent in 2013, but got rejected by both of them. She then realized that she didn't want to depend on TV shows to help her get to where she wants to be. In 2013, she committed herself to the Team Inspire project and made it clear what her goal in life is. Her biggest goal in life is to inspire others to go out and work hard to make their dreams come true. She thinks that everyone deserves to do what they love and live the life they imagine for themselves, and that's what she aims to do through her music career. At the end of 2013 she had her first experience professionally recording. She recorded a cover of "3000 Miles" by Emblem3 with one of her friends. Abbey continues to play shows and write songs as she prepares for what is to come in her future. Overall, Abbey Miller is a young musician striving to inspire others through her music.
