While he may be a new name to some in the dance music community, AKI has paid his dues and rightly established himself under his previous moniker, ANSOL. Fresh off of signing a highly acclaimed contract with powerhouse label, Armada Music; AKI is now part of the Armada family. Thus keeping him in company of the industry leaders such as, Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren, W & W, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Sandro Silva and many more. Aki uncovered a passion for producing and DJ’ing at the age of 18. His dedication and hard work led him to receive a scholarship to University as he continued to heavily immerse himself with music. Soon after, his knowledge and interest with music grew, which then led him to become a resident DJ with industry leader, Blueprint events. A company that has been bringing the world’s biggest names in electronic music to Western Canada for the past seventeen years. As Nair grew as a DJ/Producer, releasing material of his own, he managed to play alongside and gather the support from world-renowned artists such as, The Swedish House Mafia, Alesso, The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Tiesto, Afrojack, Chuckie, Avicii, Erick Morillo, Laidback Luke, Nicky Romero and more. Today, AKI continues to garner support from prominent figures in the music industry. In late 2011, AKI founded ANSOL, a transatlantic duo with Seb Soll. Through sis creativity and versatile productions, he deservingly managed to gain the support of leaders in the industry. Releasing a slew of hit tracks, including 2 Beatport Top 10 hits – a collaboration with DYRO (“TOP OF THE WORLD”) on Afrojacks label, Which was also featured on The Swedish House Mafia album. Alongside releasing on Laidback Lukes imprint, mixmash records, Ministry of Sound, and Sony Music; he has additionally released on major international label, Interscope Records. This release was hand selected by head honcho, Jimmy Iovine. This proved to be another stepping-stone for AKI; not only did his brand get supported by EDM industry leaders, Swedish House Mafia, but it also gained the support of music mogul, Jimmy Iovine. Aki Nair has achieved a highly regarded reputation for putting forward unique and innovative music. While placing importance on his education in law school, AKI has remained dedicated to his craft and continues to work hard and pursue his career as an artist.
