A Farewell To Nothing

A Farewell To Nothing, a band that formed in 2004, Is a highly tuned energy machine within the Austin Metal Scene. In early 2004, Brothers Xavier & Fabian began writing working towards starting a band. After seeing Steven Drumming at a party, Xavier approached him with the offer. A few weeks later, Xavier overheard Anthony Costilla talking about his new Bass. No thought, he asked Anthony to join. Over time Fabian persuaded Isaac to scream/sing. In no time they had their first gig July, 4th 2004 at RedRum. Back and forth between Austin to Georgetown in 2005. Late 2005 Anthony decided to call it quits to focus on his life. In Jan. 2006 Steve & Xavier had asked Rolando, (a old friend from HS) to fill in for Anthony at a practice. It was only right that after that practice EVERYONE asked Rolando to join. Gaining exposure around the state of Texas to eventually calling it quits at the end of 2007, after a few mishaps and fall outs. They disbanded to pursue different interests, Some members raised a family, some members found new musical interests, but the fire never went out. On the ten year anniversary, the band has come together to re record their demo "Dreams of Revenge & Murder" from 2005. The band has their eyes set on the future with vivid memories of the past.
