Founded in 1999, 3kStatic has collaborated with an eclectic array of artists, including: Kevin Max, Vile Evils, George Clinton, Parthenon Huxley, Stephen Mallinder, Professor Griff and many others. The band has been commissioned for remixes for Billie Ray Martin, Tweaker, Scum Of The Earth, KMFDM, Lords Of Acid, Pop Will Eat Itself, Vile Evils and many others. In February 2009, Sony Creative Software released the 3kStatic album Evolver and the companion sound library Evolver; Distinctive Electronica, the first Sony release of an original album and sound library. The band has charted numerous Top 10 tracks, with the most recent EP 'Strange Material' hitting #1 at eMusic (Downtempo) January 2013. Their 2006 album 'Where's Our Piece Of The Groovy World' charted #1 (Dance) at iTunes Europe in 2006. That album, as well as the 2008 release 'Voodoo Science', was a GRAMMY Award candidate in the Best Electronic/Dance album category. The album 'The Society Of The Spectacle' is released March 2013, as is the non-album single 'Nag Nag Nag' with Cabaret Voltaire founding member Stephen Mallinder. Electronica collective formed 1999.
